What Is It?

The carpal tunnel is a passageway in the wrist, and the median nerve travels through it. It can become inflamed over time, putting pressure on the median nerve. When possible, rest your hand and wrist neutrally or stretch the wrist by gently flexing it and pulling the fingers toward the top of the arm.
