There are three choices: classical with nylon strings, acoustic with steel strings, and electric. The type of instrument you choose will depend on the kind of guitar lesson you want to take. If you’re interested in playing rock music, electric is right for you. Acoustic is best for people who want to play country-style music. A classical guitar with nylon strings is suited for traditional music and is ideal for younger children under 12 since the strings are easier to press.

Try it out first.

Well-known brands tend to use cheap materials to create their entry-level guitars, so you may spend more for an instrument that isn’t worth the cost.
