Hawaiiana Management Company, Ltd. is proud to announce that Al Pattison, Hawaiiana’s Executive Vice President, was recently named by Pacific Business News as 2020 “Workplace Champion” for Hawaii companies over 100 employees. This honor is bestowed upon outstanding Human Resources professionals in the State, and is based on a voluntary employee survey evaluated for PBN by Quantum Workplace, an independent third-party company specializing in workplace performance and success. 

Pattison joined Hawaiiana in 2008, and has over 40 years of experience as a Human Resources professional in Hawaii. Prior to joining Hawaiiana, Pattison served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for Aloha Airlines. In addition to his human resources duties, Pattision served as Aloha’s chief of labor negotiations.

Pattison holds a BA and BS in Sociology from the University of Hawaii, and has been involved in numerous charities and non-profit organizations over the years, including Maryknoll School, The Multiple Sclerosis Society and Helping Hands Hawaii.
