Provenance® woven blinds are made from organic materials, including woods, grasses, reeds, and bamboo. Their warm textures bring a natural look into your home and create a relaxed atmosphere. To help you understand more about this window covering, here are some common questions about it.

A Guide to Provenance Woven Blinds

Which specialty shapes are Provenance woven blinds compatible with?

The shades are compatible with angled windows, including those shaped like isosceles and right triangles as well as bay and corner windows, patio and sliding-glass doors, and French doors. They typically measure 12" to 192" wide and 12" to 118" tall.

How many styles do they come in?

These window treatments are available in three styles: Roman, Waterfall Roman, and Vertical Drapery. The Roman type is smooth and stacks evenly when opened. Waterfall Roman blinds have extra fabric between each pleat to maintain a cascading effect even when extended. The vertical style has slats or shades running up and down instead of left to right.

What are the available operating systems?

blindaAvailable operating systems include PowerView™, LiteRise®, and UltraGlide®. The PowerView system is automated and can be connected to your tablet or smartphone. Set your window coverings to move according to a schedule.

With the LightRise cordless system, you can open and close the shades by pushing up or pulling down on them.

UltraGlide systems have a retractable cord or wand that allows you to make adjustments.

What decorative features can you add to your blinds?

To give your window treatments extra style, add decorative features such as edge banding. It frames the organic material, creating an additional contrast with the window frame and glass. Choose from solid colors or patterns to match your home decor. In addition to aesthetic value, edge banding will prevent the woven material from stretching out and its edges from fraying.

You might also add valances to draw the eye upward and have your windows complement other fabrics in the room.

Pair the window coverings with liners to maximize privacy and light control. A blackout liner will make sure no light creeps into your cozy atmosphere while also providing an attractive, contrasting background for the natural material.
