iPhone 11 & Newer

To reduce the risk of stains or buildup, it's important to clean your device immediately if it comes into contact with materials such as dirt, ink, acidic foods, cosmetics, or detergents.

Harsh chemicals, such as window cleaners, aerosol sprays, and solvents, can damage this coating, leaving your screen vulnerable to scratches and possibly diminishing its touch response.

Wipe your early-generation iPhone clean with a soft, lint-free cloth, such as a lens cleaner, to remove stuck-on debris and oils. However, older devices are not nearly as resistant to water as late models—particularly prior to the X. For this reason, never wet the cloth when cleaning. Disinfect carefully with 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes to significantly reduce the presence of germs.
