Our chiropractic office, located in Southgate Kentucky, minutes from downtown Cincinnati, offers massage therapy in our practice setting.  We are currently hiring a professional Licensed Massage Therapist to assist us with our increasingly busy practice. We provide convenient massage therapy for our chiropractic patients who endure neck, back pain, and tension headaches along with other complaints. In addition to our in-house massages, we also provide massages to the general public.  We specialize in a chiropractic approach to injuries and various conditions and promoting healthy mindsets among our patients.  We have a steady massage patient list and need a therapist to handle 10-15 massages per week.  All scheduling for the massages is handled through the office front desk.

Massage Therapist responsibilities and duties

Provide 30- to 50-minute massages for appointment holders and walk-ins at our location.  Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them the most.  Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions. Design sessions around clients’ specific complaints or problem areas.  Listen to clients during massages and adjust techniques to meet their needs.  Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions.  Additionally, you will manage the laundering of sheets and maintain a tidy massage room.

Massage Therapist qualifications and skills

Current and valid Kentucky state license for massage therapy and insurance.  Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred, but not required.  Reliable transportation required.  Excellent customer service and sales skills.  Our therapists are hired as contractors and file a 1099.
