Much like all other Apple® productsiPads® are known for a great user experience. Even used iPads have much to offer in terms of quality, which only illustrates how well these devices are made. Despite their inherent qualities, however, they can still experience some issues. The following are a few common problems and what steps you can take to remedy them.

What’s Wrong With Your iPad?

1. The Device Won’t Charge

You can verify whether the device is charging after plugging it in by looking for the lightning bolt symbol on the battery icon. If it’s not there, try using a different charging cable, as yours may be faulty.

Keep in mind that if you’re trying to charge the iPad by connecting it to a computer, there might be insufficient power to generate a charge. You can also reboot the device or turn on Airplane mode and try again.

2. You Can't Connect to Wi-Fi

iPad®The first step to troubleshoot connectivity issues is to reset your router. While it seems like a simple fix, resetting the router clears its memory to remove lagging tasks. You can also go into your settings and select Forget This Network before reconnecting again. Finally, reset the iPad and attempt to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

3. The Screen Constantly Freezes

Screen freezes are usually caused by a problematic app. Pay attention to which apps you’re using so you can easily pinpoint the likely culprit. To get your screen unstuck, restart the device. You may also need to force restart, either by holding the power and home buttons simultaneously or by pressing and releasing volume up, pressing and releasing volume down, and then pressing and holding the power button.
