Gary “Kiki” Takashiro Blum specializes in hand, elbow, and shoulder surgery as well as reconstructive microsurgery and pediatric hand surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, graduating with the highest distinction.

He then went on to attend the University of Hawaii for medical school, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. This was followed by a one-year fellowship focused on hand, upper extremity, and reconstructive microsurgery—plus an additional fellowship in congenital hand and upper extremity surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas.

Since completing his training, Dr. Blum has gone on to participate in international orthopedic outreach programs around the world. Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, the physician now serves the community where he grew up.
