We Just finished doing  warehouse condo building complex for a property management company.

  The property manager had called us to see if we could solve his problem which was having to physically drive to the site to review camera footage whenever there was an issue at the building as the internet for the cameras was costing them $130.00 a month and was not fast enough to actually view the camera footage remotely. Has 3 buildings with 12 units per building 36 units total. Most of the owners have offices on site. For the most part normal business to business small business and two graphic design ad specialties companies. They were in a dark hole with only 6/1 MB DSL, cellular, or satellite. Each owner was spending 80-300 a month on internet for a monthly total of just under $5500.00 A few had two connections due to the fact that the 3 options they had for internet were all weather dependent and they could not live with any internet downtime.

    We went out and did a site survey and determined that the conduits they had running from building to building for the security camera system could be used to wire the buildings for shared fiber optic internet with a total onetime wiring cost of just under $5K.

    We were able to get them a 1GB Metro Ethernet Internet connection for $2800.00 a month which is 1000MB up and Down. The carrier provided a managed router so we were able to speed limit each unit to 50MB for a monthly per unit cost of $77.00 for a 50/50MB fiber connection. Note most unit owners were paying $120.00 a month for 6/1MB DSL connection that went down at least once a day.

The Condo warehouse board agreed to spend the $5000.00 to wire the building and increase the unit owner monthly maintenance by $80.00 which also covered the $3.00 a month their camera person monthly charges to maintain the network.

All of the unit owners are happy that they now have internet that never goes down or slows down. We even went in and assisted the unit owners in canceling their existing internet providers.
