What Attracts Them

Flies love moist garbage and rotting organic material. They’ll usually congregate around your kitchen trash cans.

Clear your trash cans regularly and cover them with lids at all times. You should store any animal feed in airtight containers and pick up waste in the yard that could attract flies.

Make sure you don’t leave rotting meat or fruit out. Wash your dishes as frequently as possible to prevent food scraps and waste from building up in the basin.
