Military veterans have given so much to this country. It’s often difficult to adequately express how much their selfless contributions have meant to so many people. This is why Oak Grove Cemetery created a way to honor these extraordinary people with a special resting place called the Wall of Honor. The cemetery was established in La Crosse, WI, in 1852 and offers grave sites, funeral planning, and cremation services.

Whether burial or cremation is preferred, there’s a place for every veteran in Oak Grove Cemetery’s Wall of Honor. Both crypts and niches for cremation urns are available. A single niche only costs $1,000, while a single crypt costs $3,000 - $4,000. Companion crypts and side-by-side companion niches are also available. When you purchase a crypt or niche, you’ll receive the following:

  • Lettering, Including Death Dates
  • Placement of a Bronze Military Branch Emblem
  • Placement of a Government-Issued Plaque on The Feature Wall
  • Maintenance of The Crypt or Niche

When you choose the Wall of Honor for your final resting place, you don’t have to leave your loved ones behind. Oak Grove Cemetery provides crypts and niches located close to the Wall of Honor for family members of veterans.

The cemetery welcomes donations to support the Wall of Honor. Donations are used to purchase bronze plaques for the various branches of the service or can cover general expenses, such as flag and wall lighting. When you donate $500 or more, a donor plaque recognizing your contribution will be placed on the Wall of Honor.
