Meet Paco! Kathy Riggsbee, who works up at reception, was walking her dog, Bella, one day and saw this cute little baby bird limping around her neighborhood sidewalk. Kathy felt she couldn’t just leave him there to die, or be eaten, so she brought him into work the next day for Dr. Krumanaker to look at. Paco broke his femur (leg)! After a couple days of TLC, hand feeding him, and helping him nurse his wing, he seemed to be ready to go back out into the wild. Kathy was able to take him back to where she found him and set him free. He flew away but, as it turns out, he has been visiting her regularly.
