We hope this finds you and your family in good health. Our communities have been through a lot over the last few months because of the Oil Field slow down and the CoVid-19 Virus Pandemic. Here at my office, Drs Teresa Wade, DDS and Jerry Wade, DDS, we are all looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our office’s commitment to your safety. 

Infection Control has always been a top priority in our practice. We follow the recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers of Disease Control (CDC), and OSHA. This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to date in light of this new CoVid-19 viral pandemic and enables us to provide the safest environment for our patients and their family members. 

We ask that you please be patient and understand that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs, as we know many of you are excited to get back into our dental office. During this time, we have implemented additional safety precautions to help protect you and our staff. 

Our improved filtration system at Dr Teresa Wade’s Dental Office consists of the highest HEPA filtration, followed by an air chamber flooded with Ultraviolet light then refrigerated to return to the office building after the air has passed through each of these components; these features provide the highest possible anti-microbe, anti-viral filtration/removal and disinfection. 

At this time, for your safety, we no longer have a waiting room instead patients drive up to the curb, call the office to check in, and remain in your car. Our staff will take care of you and escort you to prevent you from any contact with outdoor-handles, or anything which we have no control over its disinfection.  We are taking temperatures at the curbside in people’s car to screen for fevers. All this is way more work for us, but we love our patients and you are worth our extra care. 

Simply pull up to the cub, call us and we will come and take care of  you as we escort you into the office. Each operatory is completely disinfected between patients. Anything you might come in contact with, well, we are earnestly striving to offer you the comfort of knowing our efforts for your protection. 

From your car please bring only your keys and valuables and we will place those in a clear bag for you, escort you to the bathroom where you can touchlessly wash your hands, then we go to the operatory for a one minute rinse. After you are cared for your next appointment will be scheduled while you wait in the safety of the dental chair. 

This is a hardship for us, but we want the very best for you the patients we love to care for and about.  Our hope and expectation is the Covid-19 (or “The Cove Crisis” as we call it), like all crisis moments, will pass. We just want to take the care necessary to protect until this danger is resolved.
