The David Hirschberg Steel Company is a local steel distributor and scrap metal recycler who has been in business since 1913. We are looking to hire CDL Class B drivers with a courteous and professional attitude. Drivers will be primarily driving Class B straight trucks with a 24'-28' flatbed. Occasionally they will also need to run roll-off and lugger trucks for our scrap division. Training will be provided for those trucks prior to use. Drivers must pride them selves on their safety, attendance and quality of work. Drivers will be operating trucks with manual and automatic transmissions. Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.

All drivers are expected to work 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday and Saturday 8:00-11:30 Saturday as needed. All positions are day route positions. Very rarely will a driver not be home at the end of their shift. Overtime may be available to the as the need presents it self.
