Additionally, the high iron content of broccoli strengthens enamel, the bright white covering that gives teeth their pearly white sheen. Broccoli is fantastic when enjoyed raw with a little dressing, but also works well in stir fry dishes or as a side to a grilled piece of chicken, fish, or beef. 

3. Cheese  

Cheese has been shown to stimulate salivary flow, which can help the mouth to regulate its pH and prevent unsightly decay. Cheese also contains cultures that crowd out harmful bacteria, preventing discoloration that can spark because of enamel breakdown. Consider enjoying a few chunks of cheese after a meal or cutting up cubes of hard cheeses like parmesan to enjoy as a tooth-healthy snack.
