We all have a rare opportunity to come together to double our gift and double our impact. We have the capacity to raise $10,000 for our organization today, and ensure that the critical programs and the support of those they serve go uninterrupted.

 

Even though it was undoubtedly the right thing to do, pausing spay/neuter services was a gut punch to the cause, and specifically to our organization.  

 

Our employees have been furloughed for nearly two months, a skeleton crew coming in on a voluntary basis to care for our beloved cats for adoption. We greatly depend on clinic fees to support the recipients of our programs, and although it was right to temporarily close, it does not make restarting our organization any easier.

 

Pet overpopulation and over-crowded shelters were a growing concern even before the pandemic began, and we need your help to get the mission back on track more than ever.  Each year, millions of friendly, healthy, companion pets are euthanized because there are simply not enough adoptive homes.  

 

Such an important part of what we do is nurturing and cultivating ongoing relationships with our program recipients.  We need your help to keep our programs accessible and available to community members that need it the most, especially during this critical time.

 

To support accessible, affordable spay/neuter is to fight to end the needless practice of euthanasia at animal facilities and private shelters.  You are the voice for so many innocent animals, and your support speaks volumes.  For so many pet owners and rescue organizations, our low and no-cost services aren't just the affordable option -- it's the only one.  Our services are made available to all pet-lovers by removing social and economic barriers and creating an atmosphere of equity, understanding, and the highest standard of veterinary care possible.

 

If there was ever a time for us to unite for the common good, it's today, #GivingTuesdayNOW 2020.  Every act of generosity counts, and when we all give together, it's unbelievable what we can do when unified.

 

We can tell deserving families these services were possible because of your gift.

 

We can tell the Connecticut residents that we are still here because the community demands it.
