COVID-19 Closure and Re-Opening Update

To Our Valued Patients:

Although, Gov. Andy Beshear gave a timeline for re-opening dental offices to begin today, April 27, we felt it was necessary to provide some clarity to our patients regarding our plans to reopen.

As the Governor and his team stated there are appropriate safeguards and protocols that need to be in place prior to reopening.  Our office is working this week to finalize those plans and protocols to maximize the protection of our patients and team and to ensure that we are complying with all mandates provided by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry.

The safety of our patients and team members has always been at the core of the decisions that we have made during this time. This crisis has brought new challenges and will take a thorough and thoughtful approach to address effectively.

Additionally, we have been working to procure the appropriate PPE needed for reopening, while also being mindful of the need for said PPE by the hospitals and first responders.
At this time, we will continue to treat true dental emergencies and will work to begin rescheduling patients THIS WEEK. We will not reopen for normal operations until we are confident that the appropriate protocols and safeguards have been made.

As we plan for reopening we will be making some changes to the workflow in the office to accommodate the likely need for continued social distancing and to minimize unnecessary exposure of both patients and our team. This reopening will be a slow and gradual process.

With this in mind, we are working to add days and time to our schedule in an attempt to accommodate those patients whose regular preventive visits have been rescheduled.

We ask for your patience and understanding at this time and we hope that you and your familes are well.

We are ready to resume seeing and treating your oral health needs just as soon as we can.

Please call/email/text us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Dr Rachel Gold and Team
