During an auto maintenance tuneup, the air, oil, fuel and cabin filters are typically checked for damage and wear. Replacing them helps remove obstructions and enhances your vehicle’s overall engine performance. 

2. Old Hoses & Belts

Most cars and trucks come equipped with a network of hoses to channel transmission, oil, and other important fluids throughout the engine. From the alternator to the power steering pump, there are also belts that link vital pulleys to operate components within the vehicle. Over time, driving and weather exposure will eventually wear down hoses and belts.
