Settled in 1650, Wellesley, MA is located only 12 miles west of Boston on Route 9. In addition to being a world renowned center of culture and education, Wellesley is also one of New England’s most desirable residential suburbs. Wellesley’s population reflects a variety of incomes and professions. Many people commute between Routes 128 and 495. Commuter trains run from Wellesley to Boston’s Back Bay and South Station. MBTA rapid transit service is available from the nearby Riverside Station.
