Sharing A Wish List From BSJ Corporation’s Residents and Staff
As the effect of the pandemic grows so does our commitment to our senior care and living communities. The need for Personal Protective Equipment and supplies will only get greater.

We’ve seen and heard firsthand how seniors are coping and when asked what we can provide for them, the most common answer is – something to do.

We have built a wish list that represents the requests from our staff and senior population. Help us show our oldest generations that we are thinking of them by donating (via Facebook) or mailing a check to the address below – to cover the cost of things like:

  • Personal Protective Equipment: N95 masks, gowns, hand sanitizer, and face masks
  • Fabric/ supplies to make gowns: Polyurethane Laminate, 1/2 In elastic, 1/2 in braided twill tape, Cotton covered polyester quilting thread
  • 5-10 Burner phones with 120+ minutes each (for seniors isolated with no phone)
  • 8 iPad 7 -  to help with 1:1 face-face virtual visits and for residents to play games
  • 200 Large piece puzzles (small enough to fit on room tray)
  • 2-3 DVD players that can be lent out to residents so they can watch movies in their rooms
  • Colored pencils
  • Skinny colored marker sets
  • Adult coloring books
  • Large print crossword puzzles – word finds – etc.
  • Watercolor paints (Crayola standard set is fine)
  • CURRENT magazines (Reader’s Digest, People, Better Homes & Garden – ect.)
  • Foam Boards so residents can work puzzles on them and easily move them
  • Bird Feeders w/ suction cups, Bird Seed, Shepherds Hooks, Décor to hang outside windows
  • Fuzzy Coloring Posters w/ velvet markers (www.stuff2color.com/fuzzy-coloring-posters/)
  • Paint by Numbers
  • Brain Puzzle books (different than word searches or crosswords)
  • Step by Step drawing books- for beginners, nothing too complex

You can help us protect our staff and seniors from Covid-19 with protective equipment and every little bit you can do to help fight against the loneliness and the effects of isolation is greatly appreciated!

In Solidarity,
