Try to quit any bad habits that are reducing your quality of life. For example, smoking has proven to be a risk factor for stress incontinence. 

3. Avoid Bladder Irritants 

Have you noticed the urge to use the bathroom a lot more after consuming certain foods or beverages? If your incontinence seems to be diet-related, try to avoid the worst triggers. Some of the most common bladder irritants include caffeine, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, carbonated drinks, citrus fruits, and spicy foods.
