At the Fossum Funeral and Cremation Service, the families we serve are always our top priority. We are all concerned with the current COVID-19 event, and we would like to update our plans with you.

Please remember, we are all in this together and we will do our best to serve during these difficult circumstances. While our community may not be able to be physically together, we can still support one another in other ways throughout this.

We are still following all guidelines from the CDC, National Funeral Directors Association, Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association, as well as all local and state emergency services. Gov. Evers has issued an executive order to ban public gatherings of 10 people or more. This is concurrent with CDC recommendations.

At this time, we will not be holding any public services. While the public may not be able to be present, we are still offering private services for families. It is important to us and our community they are able to say their goodbyes in accordance with their belief systems. As was before, delayed memorial services or digitally broadcast services are being offered to each family as an alternative.

We will make every effort to accommodate families in making arrangements and conducting services in any capacity needed to ensure their safety and comfort while honoring their loved one.

Online condolences are encouraged to be made in the familes Book of Memories on our website and you may call our offices for us to add your name to the register books. Each comment goes through a screening process before being made publicly available, so please give your online condolences some time to appear.

We will post any and all updates that we receive from the CDC, WFDA and NFDA to keep families informed. We will follow all new guidelines that are directed as the need arises.

Again, our family and staff are here to serve, protect and honor each family as we have been for over 90 years. If you have any questions or concerns please feel to call us.
