At Experimax Portsmouth, we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will continue to provide helpful information. Often during times of uncertainty, there can be a wealth of misinformation spread, especially in today’s digital age. We recommend you also follow the World Health Organization and the CDC for up-to-date information.

The health and safety of our employees and customers is of paramount importance. Therefore, we have implemented the following procedures:

  • We are open for business and can meet virtually via audio and video conferencing services, as well as in-person. We are offering REMOTE tech support for individuals transitioning to eLearning or working from home!
  • We are offering curbside service! You can make an appointment for all device repairs. Call the store at (603) 501-0410 when you arrive, we will come outside to get your device, clean and sanitize it, and diagnose it. We will call with a cost and timeline for your repair, you may pay via phone, and once completed, we will notify you when your device is ready to be picked up. Again, call the store when you arrive, and we will deliver it to your vehicle outside.
  • We are also offering repair service through the mail. Any repair received in the mail will get completed and get sent back out the same day or the next day!
  • Need some extra cash? We want to buy your gently used devices! Call the store for an estimate. Mail it in to the store. Once received we will confirm price and mail  out a check same day. Of course you can come to the store with your Apple device and walk out with a check on the spot.
  • We are following the CDC guidelines and practicing social distancing and minimizing handshaking. Staff members will be wearing gloves, and we will have gloves available upon customer request
  • In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, we have instituted additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols at frequent intervals throughout the day to protect both customers and staff members. This includes our staff wiping down all common surfaces such as tables, door handles, as well as cleaning and disinfecting all electronic devices. After each device is used or tested in any way, we wipe down the keyboard, screen and case with disinfectant. These processes are of utmost importance in our store and will continue to be the new standard moving forward.
  • We use high quality disinfectants across the entire store and workshop. We even have a gadget that safely sanitizes phones using UV-C light (the same technology used in operating rooms) that kills 99.99% of bacteria in 2 minutes! This allows us to sanitize your phone before and after touching it!
  • We are asking staff that are sick to remain home. Each staff member maintains rigorous personal hygiene standards.
