Our goal at Mante Pediatrics is to provide the best possible care and to make informed decisions in the best interest of our patients. With the current COVID-19 Pandemic, we are initiating a few safety measures/recommendations for the next several weeks.

**Our 3 Location clinics remain open to serve the public from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays.  Our numbers are as follows: Lancaster (803- 313-8346) Chester (803-385-2075), Rock Hill (803) 980-5700.

** We will begin scheduling well check-ups during morning hours and sick visits during afternoon hours. This will prevent exposing well children to sick children and will allow a time frame at the end of the day for more rigorous sanitation of the clinic.

* We offer COVID-19 testing subject to the availability of testing kits

Please call us ahead of time to discuss your symptoms with the triage nurse

WELL VISITS

We are now ONLY seeing well visits in the morning until 12pm, with priority given to those aged 18 months and younger, and in need of vaccinations.  If you and/or your child are ill when presenting for a well visit, we are going to ask that you reschedule your appointment for another time.

SICK VISITS

We are now ONLY seeing sick visits in the afternoon starting at 1 pm.

We strongly DISCOURAGE families from walking into our office without a scheduled appointment out of respect for our other families and staff. If your child has an urgent need, we advise that you call our office from your car and we can assist you accordingly.

If your child is coming for a sick visit, please do not bring your well children along and please bring as few accompanying adults as possible.

ALL VISITS

Families should be prepared to limit caregivers and children when coming to our building — preferably with 1 caregiver to 1 child.

People over 60 years of age should avoid our office, unless no other alternative is available and/or they are the child’s primary caregiver.

If you feel sick and suspect you may have COVID-19 symptoms, please go to the MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina ) website at http://musc.care to determine if you need further testing. If it is determined that you do, they will make an appointment for testing at a designated MUSC testing center

We will continue to update our safety measures/recommendations as the situation changes—-this is uncharted territory for all of us. What we do want you to know is that we love the kids and families we are privileged to serve and we want to keep them safe.
