With the closure of many businesses and institutions, SLC has been working with our interpreters to enable them to continue to provide interpreting services remotely. We can connect to a variety of multi user video platform meetings, such as Zoom and Webex or one on one platforms like  Facetime and Skype, whichever you prefer.  The interpreter connects with a phone, iPad, or computer and appears on the screen with everyone else to let the Deaf person know what is being said.  Unobtrusive, effective and accessible, VIS is the newest adaptation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
