Good afternoon family and friends!!

As we are facing some critical times as an organization in health and wellness, we thought we would reach out to our supporters and let them know how COVID-19 is effecting the Leaps of Love families in need!

Many of the families we serve already understand the quarantine procedures affecting them after their initial diagnosis.  Others have been restricted in other ways due to the illness.  But as the hospitals are limiting visitors and family members, they are facing yet another limitation on their cancer journey.

Leaps of Love has had to make some very hard decisions to cancel our Spring Family Weekend Retreat and has also had to cancel the Easter Bunny’s visit to Cardinal Glennon.  As this was for the best interest of all involved, we wanted to let our supporters know as many of YOU have already donated to these programs/events.

As we are not able to have the Easter Bunny visit Cardinal Glennon, we are working with them to make sure the inpatient families still have a blessed Easter!

If we are able to deliver the Easter bags, we will drop off bags for the boys, girls, teens that will be inpatient.  We are also having an inpatient drawing of GIFT CARDS that the families could use during their stay.  Gift cards like any restaurants, GrubHub, Google, Amazon, etc.  Cards they can use for delivery or at the hospital.

We have put together an Amazon Wish List for some of these cards.  If, by chance, Amazon delivery is shut down to only medical supplies, you can also pick up a few cards at any local retailer and drop them off at the Leaps of Love office.

TOGETHER, we can still make a difference for these families during the Easter Holiday.

More updates on our May and June programs/events will follow as we continue to support the LOL families struggling in these hard times.
