“Keeping Our Customers on the Road!”

FROM:  Gateway Leadership

TO:       Gateway Automotive Family

As a growing, thriving, family-oriented company that is respected in the community as a local industry leader, it is important that we set high standards during this worldwide health emergency.  In our precautions and protocols, we must remember one of our key core values: Care for our Co-Workers, Care for our Customers, and Care for our Communities.

Being mindful of these values, we are taking extra precautions in all our Automotive Repair Centers effective immediately.

All employees are wearing gloves before entering any customers vehicle and disposing of the gloves on exiting the vehicle.  Keys and key fobs are being sanitized by the service writers prior to being dispatched to the technician team. Clorox wipes are being used to wipe down steering wheels, gear shift levers, control panels. etc.

We are also taking steps to limit contact for those in the office including limiting in-person meetings and reminding employees to maintain a safe distance (6 ft.) from one another and from customers. We will also continue sanitizing the office and customer areas, as we have been over the past few weeks. We have a full-time staff member tasked with daily sanitizing all three of our Repair Shops.

If you are sick or have any of the main symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough or shortness of breath), please do not come into our offices; instead, if you have automotive repair needs, call us and arrange for our staff to pick up, sanitize, repair, and return your vehicle to you.

Our intent is to keep our employees safe and healthy while accomplishing our mission of keeping our customers on the road in safe and reliable vehicles.
