YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING – There is a difference in the material we use and what others use for materials. Many installers still use “washed rock” in the drain field. “Washed rock” is not necessarily clean rock. The dirt left on the rock has the potential to accumulate and plug the drain field and may increase the chances of the drain field freezing in the winter.

We use an insulated pipe and NO rock. The products we use may cost a little more initially. The materials we use help to prevent problems such as freezing in the winter and clogged drain fields. Some installers also use infiltrators, they look like turtle shells and may have a greater tendency to freeze up in the winter and at times may collapse.

A gravity fed Conventional Septic System consists of either a manufactured concrete tank or a poly tank sized appropriately for the number of bedrooms. The drain field consists of either “washed rock”, infiltrators or an insulated pipe. We use insulated pipe in which case, the “drain field” is called a cell.

The insulated pipe helps to prevent freezing in the winter and appears to have greater longevity. It also does not seem to clog. Freezing and clogs can be avoided by taking care of what you put down your drains and by not driving over your septic tank or drain field/cell. You need to keep in mind that everything you put down your drains ends up in the septic tank and the drain field.

The important part is we perform all the services required to install a septic system, a mound system or holding tank. Our estimates are accurate and include all the services required by the county and state.

These services include a SOIL TEST, the DESIGN of the system, all the PAPERWORK for the required COUNTY PERMITS and/or the process to obtain any STATE APPROVALS along with the entire installation of the septic system, mound system or holding tank. Very few plumbers are also licensed soil testers and/or system designers and they do not design their own septic systems or mound systems. It may be up to you to hire a licensed soil tester and/or designer. That process can add additional time and costs.

We offer full services and are on the job from the beginning to the end.

WE APPRECIATE OUR CLIENTS!
