If you drive a vehicle, your pristine windshield is probably something you took for granted. Then once you have a crack in it, it seems like a huge nuisance. Many people ask if they have to replace it once it's cracked.

Not only can a cracked windshield obstruct your vision, it is also unsafe. Will it explode into your face? 99.9% No. However, if you are involved in an accident, your windshield has a very important job. It keeps things (and people) in the vehicle. If it's cracked, the integrity of the glass has been compromised, and it's more likely to collapse. If you're involved in a roll-over accident, your windshield is 70% of what keeps your car or truck from completely collapsing.

Scary stuff, but important knowledge to stay safe. On a lighter note, getting a new windshield has some cool perks. It's so clear! And you get to meet our great staff. Chris, Matt, and Jordan are pretty great. And Jamie will take car of you on the phone and make sure you know you're getting what you need. We also offer wiper blades and Aquapel, which is similar to Rainex, but lasts several months! I had mine put on my windshield in April, and I still notice that when it rains I don't have to use my wipers as much, and those bugs are easier to clean off.
