The CDC recommends the following steps to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including COVD-19

-avoid close contact with people that are sick

-avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

-stay at home and away from other people if you are sick

-cover your cough and sneezes with a tissues

-wash your hands often with soap and water or use alcohol based hand gel for at least 20 seconds

-clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
