It is a total body evaluation and treatment approach that identifies and treats areas of tension or fascial restrictions throughout the body that may be impeding lymphatic flow.  Lymphatic Balancing is specifically designed to adjust the autonomic nervous system (“get up and go” and “rest and restore” part of the nervous system), release restrictions/lines of tension, and eliminate congestion in the entire lymphatic system.

Why is Lymphatic Balancing so important?

The proper functioning of the lymphatic system is CRITICAL to allow the body to detoxify and regenerate tissues, to filter out pathogens and foreign substances, to recover crucial materials that escape the blood, and to help maintain a healthy immune system.

What should I expect from a Lymphatic Balancing treatment?

Hands-On Health Massage & Physical TherapyYou will experience a noticeable state of relaxation.  You may feel lighter and have less pain.

This treatment is very gentle but after the session you may notice increased urination, a healing reaction, an emotional reaction, tiredness, brief dizziness/light-headedness, and/or possibly a low grade fever due to the detoxification that occurs when a sluggish lymphatic system resumes healthier operations.   You will want to drink plenty of water to flush your system and eat lightly the day of treatment.

Lymphatic Balancing may be a major, but often overlooked, factor in your recovery and wellness.  What conditions can be helped by this treatment?  Stay tuned for the next post.
