Technology is the way of the future. Those who take classes from Southeast Community College in Nebraska can now check out robots to attend their classes for them, allowing for long-distance learning. Here, find out if you are eligible to use a robot to attend SCC classes and meetings.

Who Can Use Robots to Attend Class?

Those Who Drive Long Distances

If you routinely drive long distances to attend class at SCC, consider using a robot. No matter where you live in SCC’s 15-county service area, you can save time and gas by utilizing the College’s robot technology, even from the learning center in your area. Robot access is available from any computer.

Those Who Live In Rural Areas

Perhaps you reside in a rural area that is outside of the SCC’s service area. Maybe you’re within the service area and would love the opportunity to attend class remotely in real time. Robots make it possible to remain where you are without missing class, allowing you to ask questions, chat with fellow students, enjoy group discussions, and do everything else you would normally do in the traditional face-to-face classroom.

Those With Personal Issues

Robots make it possible to attend class regardless of personal issues, including those involving transportation. Instead, you get to relax knowing you aren’t missing out on your education or infecting other students with a sudden illness.
