Do:

Wipe up spills immediately.

Sweep regularly.

Keep your floor pristine by sweeping with a soft-bristled broom or microfiber mop at least once a day. Use a vacuum without a beater bar at least once a week to pick up any debris you might’ve missed.

Only use a detergent if your flooring has a wax coating, and make sure to rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water to remove all residue.

Bring in dirt.

Dirt and other outdoor debris can scratch vinyl and make its shiny finish dull. Prevent this by placing doormats at all entryways leading into areas with this flooring. Rugs and mats near windows and doors will also protect the surface from fading.

Drag heavy furniture.

Dragging or pushing heavy appliances and furniture across vinyl flooring may cause scratches and scuff marks. Prevent this by laying down plywood sheeting along the path where you plan to move the object. To protect the surface from dents, cover all furniture feet with felt pads or silicone caps.
