The process of shaping your tooth, fitting a temporary crown while a custom permanent one is made, and then having the permanent one placed can take up to a month, so check around your area at least six to eight weeks before the wedding. 

3. Teeth Whitening 

In-office whitening uses carbamide or hydrogen peroxide solution that is applied to the teeth to gently break up and lift stains. It’s sometimes activated with UV light.

How many sessions you need will vary depending on the current shade and desired shade of your teeth, with most patients being treated in up to three sessions. Some stains, such as those of a purple or gray color, won't be affected by teeth whitening and may need to be covered by a veneer, so have a dentist consultation at least six weeks before the wedding. 

4. Implants 

Dental implants replace missing teeth. They use a titanium post that's bonded in place with a crown mounted on top of it. The process usually happens over several appointments—one for consultation, one to place the post, and one to mount the crown. It could be up to four to six months before your implant has healed, so you should plan well in advance if you need to have them done.
