Two Boots Pizza, together with The Greenwich Village Society For Historic Preservation, is proud to announce their latest upcoming event! Join the beloved pizza restaurant and historic society for an evening of readings, culture, and other festivities as the two celebrate “Frank O’Hara Lived Here.” Kicking off this Tuesday, June 10th promptly at 6:00 p.m., the event will honor the historic plaque unveiling and community celebration at the former residence of legendary poet Frank O’Hara. Co-sponsored by The Poetry Project, the evening will feature Tony Towle, who knew O’Hara, Edmund Berrigan, and additional speakers.

“Frank O’Hara Lived Here" is part of a continuing series of events hosted by GVSHP and Two Boots Pizza, as the two commemorate notable residents and events in New York’s East and West Villages through the installation of plaques. This event takes place at Frank O’Hara’s former residence, 441 E. 9th Street. It’s open to all, but RSVPs are politely requested.
