A vehicle wrap is a great way to advertise your business or raise awareness for an important cause. However, if you're investing in this cover, you'll want to ensure it lasts as long as possible. If you're thinking of getting one, learn more about how to make it stand the test of time.

How to Care for Your Vehicle Wrap

1. Hand Wash Only

When it comes to caring for a vehicle wrap, you must first avoid pressure washing. This action can damage the cover, causing it to lift and peel. Instead, wash your vehicle by hand.

Give the car a pre-rinse to clear off dirt, then wash it with a sponge or soft cloth. Rinse the soap off before it has a chance to dry to avoid streaks and stains.

2. Store in a Garage

3. Watch for Bubbling & Peeling

If you notice bubbling in your vehicle wrap, don't push down on it, as this may cause it to crack. Instead, pop the bubbles with a straight pin, or bring your car to a vehicle wrap specialist.

Similarly, if you notice lifting or peeling around the edges, bring it in for repair right away. If spotted before debris has a chance to settle under the wrap, it may be possible to repair it. However, if it's left alone, it'll continue to peel and eventually require replacement.
