1. William Carey

Carey is one of the most highly regarded missionaries in the Baptist church. Born in 1761, this Englishman was a pastor at a humble church in his village. While he wasn’t formally educated, he read a lot about foreign countries and eventually grew concerned about the lack of spirituality around the world.

It was his calling to engage in foreign missions and spread the word of God, so he traveled to India to share his teachings. 2. Lottie Moon

During his time there, he achieved numerous goals in the name of the Lord.
