October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Middendorf Funeral Home shares in the Ft. Mitchell community’s mission to raise awareness about this disease. Having seen their fair share of breast cancer-related tragedies, the funeral home directors at Middendorf strive to make every effort possible to support the community’s breast cancer patients as well as survivors throughout the year.

As a funeral home that makes compassion, elegance, and respect top priorities during the pre-planning stages of any funeral service, Middendorf also aims to transfer these qualities to other areas of the community. As such, they encourage families to partake in the following activities to show their support for breast cancer awareness:

  • Participate In A Walk: Whether you have lost an immediate family member to breast cancer or are looking to support a friend, participating in a walk is a great way to honor a loved one. Not only do these walks instill a stronger sense of unity among locals, but they also benefit a fantastic cause.
  • Make A Donation: The staff members at Middendorf Funeral Home are firm believers in serving the local community and that community also includes current breast cancer patients as well as survivors. When you make a donation to a breast cancer foundation of your choosing, you’re not only helping experts get closer to finding a cure, but contributing to the well-being of your neighbors as well.
  • Volunteer: If you have a few hours of spare time, you can also volunteer at a local hospital or facility to help those currently fighting breast cancer. Join Middendorf in providing others with care and compassion, and your volunteer time may prove to be a very cathartic way to pay homage to your own loved one.
