Many of our clients are ready to explore how their lighting can positively impact their business but don’t know how the process works.  The mission at Turnkey LED is to simplify the process for our customers to maximize efficiency and savings and minimize the headache of the process.

Turnkey LED is serving a need in Colorado for time strapped decision makers who want the full picture about the value that LED lighting can add to their business or building, and need a streamlined process that will help them cut through the noise.  This article discusses the process of how we build trust, provide exceptional customer service guidance and support, and add value to our customers every day, ensuring they make the best lighting and electrical decisions for their unique needs and budget. 

We start every client interaction with a meeting to discuss their business and properties’ distinct needs.  We then perform a free energy audit to investigate the lighting consumption and gather data to calculate current usage compared to the estimated post retrofit usage.  This data allows us to calculate the simple payback period, savings to investment ratios, rebate amounts, and overall costs and usages which we then present to our clients and encourage additional questions.  For some clients we offer energy efficiency financing options which allow them to pay for the upgrade out of their savings and potentially roll the lighting upgrade into a solar or building envelope upgrade.

We then leverage our experience and technology to specify the ideal lighting and controls to match our client’s budget and needs and explain how these products stand up in the market.  Often at this point in the process, we will provide the client with a photometric report, which is a digital mockup of how the proposed LED upgrade will perform in the space after installation and discuss further. 

If the client decides to move forward with the project, we coordinate all the necessary logistics and perform the upgrade at the most convenient time for the customer.  Our team of professional electricians perform the retrofit and any other necessary work in a clean, quick, and professional manner and we haul off and recycle all the old fixtures and bulbs.  If there are warranty issues with equipment or installation, we address these issues immediately.

Turnkey LED will then submit rebate paperwork and ensure all work is done to a high standard, and closeout the project. We understand that decision makers don’t always have the time or experience to ensure the best decisions are made for their businesses regarding lighting, but they can depend on us to provide a streamlined process resulting in an optimal lighting solution.
