For the last several months, I have been learning from and working alongside Kathy Mellott, Doctor of Audiology.  With over thirty years of experience, she has been successfully running her own private practice since 1993.  In total, she operates three offices in different locations: Silver Spring, College Park, and Upper Marlboro.  

The office in Silver Spring shares a space with Dr. Baumgatner, Otolaryngologist a.k.a an Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor (ENT).  Audiologists and ENTs  often work closely together to provide insight into hearing loss. Following an appointment with an Audiologist, a recommendation for an ENT consultation may be necessary to explore the causes of hearing loss.  Joint appointments with Dr. Baumgartner and either Dr. Mellott or myself may be made for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  

This month Audiology Unlimited is offering free hearing screenings at the Beltsville Community Center from 3-7:00 on Monday evenings and 12-4:00 on Friday afternoons in our office at Holy Cross Hospital.
