1. Crown Point

The Crown Point State Scenic Corridor is about 15 miles east of downtown Portland. It's topped by Vista House, an octagonal, green-tile-roofed building that was constructed in 1916 as a place to enjoy the exceptional view. It towers 700 feet above the Columbia River Gorge, and it has convenient parking between 6 am and 9 pm. However, if you want to take pictures from the Vista House, it's only open from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

2. Multnomah Falls

It also has a viewing bridge perched just above the lower tier with a separate observation deck overlooking the edge of the falls. 3. The Wreck of the Peter Iredale

The Peter Iredale shipwreck is located within Fort Stevens State Park in Northern Oregon. The Peter Iredale was a steel four-master that sank along the Oregon Coast in 1906 while four miles south of the Columbia River mouth. The skeletal remains can still be seen, making it one of the most popular and most photographed shipwrecks in the Graveyard of the Pacific.
