3. Leave Plastic Trees Standing

Dismantling fake Christmas trees can take a while, and as they lay in a box all year, the limbs can become flat. Prevent this by just leaving it standing. Carve out an empty spot in your storage unit where the tree can stand. If you are worried about dust accumulation, cover it loosely in plastic wrap, a tarp, or an old bedsheet.
