Eggs: So simple and easy to prepare. From hard boiled to scrambled with veggies, this protein is so versatile.  With only 70 calories in one large egg, this is a simple option will start your day out great!

Chicken Breast: Chicken is simple to put on the grill or in the crock pot with a light sauce for a quick meal.  This lean protein packs 25 grams of protein per 4 oz and can be added to soups, salads, or wraps for a quick lunch or dinner. Stock up!

Lean Ground Beef or Turkey: Look for ground meat at least 93% lean. Browning up lean ground meat into meatballs, burgers, or taco meat beforehand can save time during your nightly meal prep! Keep it simple and get cooking!

Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk: This low calorie milk swap is perfect for coffee drinks, oatmeal, and smoothies.  It’s creamy texture and great taste is great for a simple treat with only 35 calories per cup. Don’t count on the protein for this one though, there’s only 1 gram per cup.

Unsweetened Greek Yogurt: This satisfying, thick yogurt can be doctored up with a little sweetener or honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract. You can also top it with fruit or make it in to a veggie dip with a ranch seasoning packet that the whole family will love.  1 cup packs a little over 100 calories, but has a whopping 20+ grams of protein.
