Community members joined Coryell Health in celebrating the addition of a new hospital and operating rooms to our campus. Coryell Health team members toured guests behind the scenes, walking visitors through the new building and showing the new patient care areas. New additions include a new twenty five -bed hospital, two new operating rooms, as well as a new cardiopulmonary center that consists of two new sleep study rooms, cardiac stress testing and rehabilitation programs for both cardio and pulmonary issues.

The string quartet, Grazioso, played while guests snacked on a variety of foods served by Coryell Health Culinary Services. Director of Marketing, Carly Latham, welcomed guests and announced winners of the photography contest. Ronnie Sullins, president, Coryell Health Board of Directors, and board member for thirty five years, thanked the community for their support and introduced David Byrom, Coryell Health CEO. Byrom said, “I don’t have the adjectives to tell you how resilient this staff is, as they continued to work around this project to bring quality care to our community.”

Byrom noted this event was “a sneak peek” and that it would be a few more weeks until the building could be occupied.

Matt Dossey led the guests and Coryell Health staff in prayer.
