October is Audiology Awareness Month! Audiologists are licensed health-care professionals who evaluate hearing loss and balance disorders. In the United States, hearing loss is a widespread health problem. People of any age can suffer from hearing loss. On average, an individual will wait seven years from the time s/he first perceives a hearing impairment to the time s/he actually does something about it. Do yourself a favor and have your hearing checked today rather than struggle through the next seven years.

To celebrate Audiology Awareness Month, Audiology Unlimited and College Park Hearing Services are offering free hearing screenings every Monday, Thursday, and Friday in October:
