But, what if you could enjoy a day at the baseball field while supporting a good cause? On Saturday, October 17th, you can; the stadium will be hosting a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
As one of the most widespread networks of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, this walk brings together nearly 300 communities for one purpose: to fight breast cancer! Day-of registration will be held just before the start of the walk, which is at 8 a.m. You may register in advance on the American Cancer Society website, but last minute registration is also accepted. The length of the walk is just over three miles, and it’s guaranteed to be a fun time for people of all ages.
