Your flowers will last longer if they’re kept away from ripening fruit too, which releases small amounts of gas that can cause them to wilt more quickly.

Keep Water Full & Clean

If your floral arrangement came wrapped in plastic, remove it as soon as possible. Keep the water level in your vase or container high; if the container included floral foam, keep the water level above it. When the water becomes cloudy, dump it out, and clean the vase with soap before refilling it with room temperature tap water.
