1. Get Your Fruits & Veggies

They will also help you maintain a healthy weight—another preventive step. Eat pomegranates, which are loaded with antioxidants; broccoli, which contains cancer-fighting phytochemicals; and legumes and soybeans. 

2. Drink Coffee

Speak with your physician first, however. High levels of caffeine may lead to an irregular heartbeat or seizures. You’ll also want to stick to healthy coffee-drinking habits, like not putting in too much sugar and avoiding sweet and artificial creamers.

3. Exercise

Exercise is an important part of healthy living. Staying physically active every day of the week reduces the likelihood of developing prostate cancer. Raise your heart rate for 30 minutes to trim excess fat.

Plus, exercise reduces stress, as working out promotes the release of endorphines—the body’s natural painkiller. This can heavily contribute to stress reduction. Start by taking the stairs, biking to work, or walking your dog for longer than usual.
