Honoring the sacrifices many have made for our country in the name of freedom and democracy is the very foundation of Veterans Day. -Charles B. Rangel

Today, on Veterans Day, we would like to say thank you to all who have chosen to make sacrifices in their own lives to serve our great nation.

Stephenson Truck Repair is led by a veteran (John R. “Dick” Stephenson) and we have a couple of other Veterans in our employ. We would like to say thank you to them and their families today.

Dick Stephenson was in the Nebraska National Guard for six years. He is also the son of a one star General in the Nebraska National Guard, John R. Stephenson, Sr.

Another veteran that we would like to honor is our long-time employee, Jim, who was in the Marine Corp for six years. Jim also came from a family with multiple military members. Jim’s older brother Mark made the ultimate sacrifice for our country as he was killed in the line of duty in 1978.

Our final Veteran that we would like to thank and honor today is Gary who was in the Army for 2 years and then the Nebraska National Guard for 32 years.
