Office holiday parties celebrate the successes of the year and show employees how much you appreciate them. If you want to provide a truly memorable experience, add unique activities like the following to fill the event’s hall rental space.

3 Ways to Create a Memorable Office Holiday Party

1. Stop & Shoot

hall-rentals-honoluluHelp everyone get in the party mood when they arrive with a stop-and-shoot. Hang a backdrop near the door, like a winter or exotic getaway scene. Have props on hand and a photographer snapping away so employees can create fun photos, which you can later compile and post on the company social media pages. As an alternative, rent a photobooth that everyone can visit at their leisure during the party.

2. Build-Your-Own-Tree Competition

You’ll likely have a lot of leftover office supplies from the work year. Before recycling them, put them to use with a build-your-own-tree competition.

Split employees up into teams—mix the various departments so they can meet new people. Have everyone use the supplies to build a non-traditional tree. Everyone can later vote on their favorite, and the trees will add fun decor to the hall rental.

3. Olympics

A bit of friendly competition will bring employees together, so host office Olympics. In the weeks prior, designate teams and create a list of events to compete in. They can prepare and determine who will do which events.

Make the events holiday-themed as well; for example, have a fastest gift-wrapping competition, tree decorating and un-decorating, or Christmas movie trivia.
